The Georgian Yard is a tribute to the centuries-old cultures, traditions, folklore and, of course, the unique cuisine of Georgia. Being in love with this country, we’ve tried to recreate a small corner of Georgia in Tashkent.
Inside The Georgian Yard, walls are decorated with replicas of paintings by such outstanding artists as Niko Pirosmani and Lado Gudiashvili.
The same motifs are used in the friezes of inlaid stone by traditional Georgian master craftsmen.
A cordial, festive ambiance is created by Georgian songs performed by a folk music ensemble as well as the charming sounds of pander, accordion, violin and duduk.
According to a Georgian custom, a guest is the messenger of God. When entering a Georgian house, don’t be surprised if you are entertained and invited to sit down at the table, as Georgian hospitality is legendary all over the world.
